Sharing one of my favorite days from our vacation earlier in the month. There is nothing like experiencing mother nature in all her glory to make you take a step back and appreciate this beautiful world we live in. Whistler, BC is one of those places that truly takes your breath away.

This past weekend was one for the books. It was hot, hot, hot & I loved every second. I wanted nothing more than to be outside soaking up the gorgeous summer days, so that is exactly what I did! And what better time to wear a fun palm print romper? Nothing says summer like a great palm print!
Finally getting around to sharing our Seattle trip with you. I personally love researching where to go and what to see when visiting a new place through social media & other online resources. However, I think the best trips usually involve discovering new places and experiences that you didn’t plan on or weren’t on the agenda.
Happy Saturday ya’ll! Sharing a combo that has been on repeat lately. Denim skirts are back in a big way. I haven’t worn one since high school and was honestly a little surprised at how easily it became a staple in my wardrobe rotation. Today’s versions are more utilitarian with button up details and pocketing. Easily paired with pretty much any top, it is a fun alternative to jeans.
I had such a wonderful weekend celebrating my man’s b day. It was a nice relaxing time spent enjoying lots of laughs, great conversation and delicious food with friends and family. I always feel like the best weekends make getting back to the work week grind that much harder. Lucky for me its going to be a short week. We are heading up to Seattle, Vancouver & maybe Whistler for a little (much needed) vacation. We are very excited for this trip and would greatly appreciate any recommendations of where to go and what to see!
Happy August! The summer season has gone by too quickly. Luckily summer lasts until about November here in California so I am planning on soaking up the sunshine for a few more months. Typically when its a grey & gloomy in the city, we will take the opportunity to explore nearby areas while getting some sun time in the process. It is nice to be able to drive even just an hour in any direction & have so many great areas to visit. Having never visited Northern California very much before moving here, I am looking forward to more weekend trips!
